Handwoven Rayon Poncho with Striped Patterns from Guatemala, "Creation of Love"
Combining colors of magenta, pumpkin, and chestnut, Guatemala's K'amolon K'i K'ojonel association presents this lovely poncho. The association's women artisans work on a traditional telar de cintura, or backstrap loom, to hand-weave this fantastic accessory. It features a subtle striped pattern.

"Beautiful! Springtime in a scarf!"

"stunning fabric woven on bias to flatter!!"
The subtle but brilliant colors in this woven fabric are stunning for those who love jewel tones of magenta and purple and their gradations. The cut of this poncho flatters you as it seems to be woven and cut on the bias. It is finished by a gorgeous fringe, and I get raves when I wear it.
