Three colors come together, yet each retains its own identity in this handwoven shawl. Working on a backstrap loom, Maya artisans from K'amolon K'i K'ojonel transform rayon made from bamboo into a cozy lightweight wrap. Threads of blue, green and turquoise distinguish the design, which is finished with lavish fringe.

I received this beautiful scarf today. It was well worth the cost, which could have easily been more. The mingling of blues and lavenders is absolutely beautiful. The softness yet sturdy feel of the scarf allows it to feel good against the skin, and yet not be victim to snagging of threads. I am so pleased with this purchase. The artist should be very proud.

Im allergic to wool, so this scarf has been perfect for warmth in winter. The colors are beautiful. Im able to wrap this around my neck twice and still have enough length to tie the ends in a fashionable knot. Its very soft against the skin and has not pulled or snagged, as it is very tightly woven. Would make a wonderful gift.
