Handcrafted of cotton with leather trim in smoky beige, this complex bowling bag from India carries on the artisanal traditions of West Bengal's Shantiniketan region. Featuring an original design by Kailash and Anurag, the bag is detailed with batik motifs, using a wax resist along with colorful dyes. An ID tag dangles from one of the straps, and two belt buckles at the side adjust the bag's size. Opening with a tuck lock clasp, the front flap lifts to reveal a pocket for storing small items and accessories. The bag's main zipper opens to a lined interior in candy apple red, complete with a zipper pocket and an open pocket.

“Hand-painted leather shoulder bag Spring Abode Gorgeous!”

If you are travelling or going to work all day with one bag where you need to carry everything plus the kitchen sink, it wont be large enough. However, its very cute and light, and just the right size for everyday shopping trips. Has enough pockets for organizing and is excellent quality. Been a few years since I ordered a Kailash and Anurag bag and glad I remembered to go back to them. Love that they still do beautiful leather painting and offer a price point that is affordable.
