Batik Cotton File Holder Checkered Motif in Stone from India, "Checkered Stone"

A father and son artisan duo from India, Kailash and Anurag are excited to present their own designs in this cotton organizer with an open front pocket. Accented with black leather, it opens with a zipper to reveal a polyester lining with three open pockets, one zipper pocket, and three slots for bank cards on one side. A single leather loop inside the crease can be used to hold a pen or pencil. The checkered patterns in stone and pale grey on the front are achieved through the batik method, where a wax resist is applied to the fabric before submerging it in a vat of dye.
