Wood sculpture, 'African Woman Loves Life'
By Colleen
Gorgeous and powerful
I love love love this piece. I thought about gifting it but ended up keeping it for myself. The work is beautiful up close, but mostly I see her across the room and feel uplifted by her pose and her presence. She is not small - a foot and half tall maybe? I am sure the info on the site is correct, worth paying attention to. She doesnt fit in the space I was thinking of, but I love the home I have found for her in my bedroom.
Wood sculpture, 'Authority is Like an Egg'
By Iris
Beautiful carving
Bought for my grandson-in-law who is involved with chickens and eggs. The piece is perfect for his office desk and I was very impressed by the quality of the carving and beauty of the wood. Thank you for an unusual and appreciated piece!
Ebony wood sculpture, 'Bust of a Ghanaian Woman'
By Lakeisha
She is one beautiful woman!
My Ghanaian woman is absolutely beautiful and I cant take my eyes off her. Her dark ebony grounds the room and she calls attention with her deep, rich color and detail. Mr. Obeng is a master of his craft and he managed to make this ebony lady come alive. So happy with my purchase and now a fan of the artist.
