This is a beautiful piece of art work. I thought it was going to be smaller but it is large and beautiful. Has an opening so a small candle can be put in and star openings in front for a nice glow.
My fiancee and I purchased two small versions of this in Taos, NM for family. One of them broke on the plane and I was looking for a replacement. I saw this and loved the vibrant colors, but didnt realize how big it was. I am overjoyed by this product! We will cherish this for years to come!! Juana Ponces use of color and florals is indicative to her Mexican heritage and artistry. This is such a treasure!!!
Delicate yet powerful
Such great design and craftsmanship in these two candle-holders, from the cut-work to the shape and dark coloring rarely seen elsewhere. Also being decently sized, these suited my decor aesthetic perfectly.

Oaxaca Black Pottery T-light Candleholders (pair), "Floral Harmony"$25.99
Anakarem creates two different openwork designs inspired by Oaxacan flora for this extraordinary set of T-light candleholders. One is crowned with a flower which is surrounded by a band of triangles flanked by circles, followed by halved flowers of gorgeous petals. Five gorgeous flowers adorn the second candleholder. Each one is crafted by hand of ceramic with black pottery techniques which include using a quartz or an obsidian to polish the candleholder to achieve a matte sheen even after firing in an oak wood fueled kiln.
In case of ash residues from being fired in a wood kiln, please wipe with a dry cloth.
