Blue Ceramic Elephant with Lotus Incense Holders (Pair), "Lotus Elephant in Blue"
Charoensri of Thailand creates this pair of ceramic incense holders in the form of an elephant carrying a lotus flower, both important symbols in Thai culture. The lotus flower is often a symbol of enlightenment, and the elephant has been celebrated for its longevity, endurance, and strength. The incense holders are glazed in blue with a crackle finish and have a small hole at the top for placing an incense stick.
The artisan describes how she began her journey in ceramics: "I visited our friend's ceramics factory and I observed each step in the process. Seeing my interest, our friend persuaded me to try this work. Immediately, I began learning from skilled artisans. Finally, I was ready to design our ceramics."

"Elephant Incense holders"

"Celadon Beauties"
I only just realized that these are incense holders! They pair quite lovely with other celadon pieces and they are very delicate, feminine, and soothing to look at.

"What a beautiful style"
I burn incense to relax Since I am now a disabled women the incense burner are so beautifully made the whole experience relaxes the mind and the senses and that really helps me feel better
