Talavera-Style Ceramic Christmas Tree Lantern from Mexico, "Christmas Pine"
Add a Christmas glow to your home decor with this lantern. Designed by Mexican artisan Juana Ponce, the lantern is crafted from ceramic in the shape of pine tree with a star on top. Colorful floral motifs and other intricate designs are painted by hand in the traditional style of Talavera handicrafts. Little holes in the sides allow for the diffusion of light, and a large hole in the bottom accommodates a candle.

"Delightful and Whimsy"
Used this as a centerpiece for an outdoor holiday meal. Perfect low lighting. A nice shelf-size tree as well. Very pleased.

"Cherished collection!"
I received my talavera guitar today and was so pleased at the quality and the colors also. The handpainting is all done so very well, and very impressive. It was packaged very very well and arrived in perfect condition. The little picture postcard included was a nice addition too. Thank you very much for such a beautiful piece of art. "Beautiful piece of Talavera"
I ordered a Praying Mary sculpture for myself some time ago. This time I ordered one for a friend that likes Mexican Talavera and is quite religious. I am sure she will love it because I feel its a beautiful sculpture.
