Wood Beaded Necklaces from West Africa
It is light, colorful and fun to wear. I wear it mostly in the summer with sundresses. It looks beautiful with my black and white striped dress. It is also a holiday favorite as well. Workmanship is beautiful - lots of compliments.
This is a beautiful piece. The colors of howlite are gorgeous, and it goes with so many things. It is well made also. One of my favorites
And I didn't even have to remove my shoes! The exquisite artistry strung in wooden beads speaks volumes of a vibrant culture. One can vicariously imagine the pulse of,say, a market on the outskirts of Accra where I might haggle good-naturedly over the price of her creation with Elizabeth Alorchie-Apetor! Africa travels well. kudos to the artisans' of NOVICA! Thank You Elizabeth! John.
