Elizabeth Alorchie-Apetor selects warm earth tones for the design of this stunning necklace. She crafts the necklace by hand with sese wood beads in different shapes, alternating patterned spheres with discs. A larger sese wood pendant centers the necklace with carved patterns that suggest a bird's beak. Amber-hued recycled beads border the brass clasp.

"Africa! No TSA Pat down!"

And I didn't even have to remove my shoes! The exquisite artistry strung in wooden beads speaks volumes of a vibrant culture. One can vicariously imagine the pulse of,say, a market on the outskirts of Accra where I might haggle good-naturedly over the price of her creation with Elizabeth Alorchie-Apetor! Africa travels well. kudos to the artisans' of NOVICA! Thank You Elizabeth! John.
