Wood sculpture, ‘Akan Elephant’
By Susan
great eye for simplicity
this artist sees the importance of simple yet not missing the detail of structure. this is a gift to a collector of elephant sculptures and my only regret is; when sent to me ; the packer didnt enclose the gift card , which to me is important as a collectors piece. i called novica and said as much but , i still dont know if ill get the card so i can include it with the gift when the time comes for giving. But, i intend to purchase more from this artist in the future she is truly gifted!!
Wood sculptures, 'Ghanaian Sankofa Birds' (pair)
By Maria
Conversation piece
These look great anywhere! They are a conversation piece as everyone wants to know where I acquired them and then I share the symbolism of the birds reaching back. They could go anywhere in my house because they look formal enough for a nice dining room.
Wood sculpture, 'The Love Struggle'
By Yvette
Interesting conversation piece.
This sculpture describes my struggles with relationship. To me it represents patience, true love and with communicating one can reach true happiness and love, the true struggles of relationships, is what this sculpture represents for me. Thank you for the wonderful hand craved piece. It is a special piece that compliments my collection .
