For a memorable pair of chandelier earrings, first take ten carats of faceted marquise-cut natural labradorite. Add bezel settings of gleaming sterling silver, and complete with sterling posts. India's Neetu Barathi concocts just the right recipe in her original earring design. The intriguing play of color in labradorite (known as "labradorescence") was thought by the Inuit peoples to be the frozen fire of the Aurora Borealis.
