Using the Balinese jewelry motifs known as bun (wirework) and jawan (tiny silver granules), Eka Devi crafts a wonderfully ornate pair of earrings. The earrings are formed of sterling silver with a combination finish, and accented with teardrops of faceted garnet with natural crimson hues. The design is named for Besakih, an ancient temple on the island of Bali.

"Bought these as a gift"
I bought these as a gift for a friend and now I want a pair. They are beautiful and delicate....not too big and not too small. Lightweight. And the garnets show up very nicely.

"Even more beautiful in real life"
I loved these earrings when I saw them online. But I have to say they are even more beautiful in real life. The Sterling glistens. The amethyst adds a sparkle of color and they are the perfect size They are already my favorite earrings.
