This bearded African mask is designed and hand-carved from sese wood by Ghanaian artisan Awudu Saaed. Featuring hand-painted motifs in green and black, the mask is accented with embossed aluminum for a textured look. The artisan names the mask Saaje, a Hausa word meaning "beard."
