A drop of crystalline clarity surrounds an expanding droplet of ocean blue. The Seguso Family brings Murano-inspired blown glass techniques to Brazil, hand crafting their own signature art glass vases.
The presence of air bubbles accentuates the nature of the traditional hand blown crafting process, making each piece unique.

"Extraordinarily beautiful!"
This art glass vace is just incredible! It catches the light and shimmers in person, which you cant see on the screen. I love my pieces from the Seguso family, and especially this beauty!

"Said she loved it"
I bought this with confidence because I trust NOVICAs quality and protective packaging. They also did a nice job on the gift wrap. I was relieved that it wasnt seasonal wrap because this was for a wedding, rather than the holiday.

"nice ...but not what it thought it would be"
it came..well packaged...right size......but i had hoped it would have mare colors. Not just a ball of colors in the middle. It now with my other birds on my window ledge. Elayne

Mario Seguso, the patriarch of the Seguso Family, was born in 1929 in Venice, Italy to one of the oldest and most famous blown glass artisan families on the island of Murano. His ancestors have crafted art glass since 1300. In 1956, Mario created his own workshop in Brazil. He has passed on his knowledge to his sons, grandsons and the artisans working with him. He is proud to have many assistants and to have trained eight glass masters in his workshop.
