Collectible Handblown Murano Inspired Art Vase, "Carnival Color Fantasy"
Sunshine yellow, ocean blue and rain forest green dance with orange and scarlet in a riot of festive patterns. Covering a crystalline vase with a spectrum of color, the Seguso Family creates a joyous design. They work in the age-old techniques of Murano glass brought from Italy to Brazil by Mario Seguso in 1954.

"Gorgeous Canary!"

I bought this with confidence because I trust NOVICAs quality and protective packaging. They also did a nice job on the gift wrap. I was relieved that it wasnt seasonal wrap because this was for a wedding, rather than the holiday.

Preserving Traditions
Mario Seguso, the patriarch of the Seguso Family, was born in 1929 in Venice, Italy to one of the oldest and most famous blown glass artisan families on the island of Murano. His ancestors have crafted art glass since 1300. In 1956, Mario created his own workshop in Brazil. He has passed on his knowledge to his sons, grandsons and the artisans working with him. He is proud to have many assistants and to have trained eight glass masters in his workshop.
