Ali Mohammed designs a fascinating mask in honor of friendship. "Old friends are the best, let us learn to keep them," advices the Ghanaian artisan. His design features embossed aluminum on the cheeks and forehead over the sese wood mask. Mohammed paints the mask brown featuring orange eyelids and lips. He calls this mask "Nyanyo," meaning "Friend" in the Ga language.
