Hand-painted marble dangle earrings, 'Hummingbird Flower'
By Colleen
Marble Hummingbird Earrings
These earrings are painted on both sides - hummingbird on one side and design on the other. The paint or a sealant is raised off the surface of the marble. There are tiny rhinestones incorporated into the designs. They are beautifully done. I was afraid they would be too heavy because they are marble but they are not. The puffy flower shape of the marble is a bit less than one inch. So glad to have them.
Blue topaz flower necklace, 'Mixtec Tulip'
By Tara
Stunning!!!
When my husband first saw this necklace he commented that it was stunning! It is a true work of art! The three petals of the tulip have such a beautiful contrast! The blue topaz that hangs below is probably around a carrot and it is bezel set. To me it seems more pear-shaped and the setting is also more teardrop than oval shaped. I think this pendant Is beautiful! I hope that the artist is able to bring it back so that other people can have the chance to own such a stunning piece. This pendant helps me to remember that jewelry is just as much a form of art as any other form of art that human beings have created. Truly beautiful!
Turquoise flower necklace, 'Aztec Star'
By Irina
aztec treasure
Turquoise is my birth stone. This necklace combine 2 colors of turquoise - light blue and darker blue stones alternate. The stones are brighter and silver is shinier in person than on picture, and it gives necklace a really amazing look. Got a lot of compliments when wearing it. Guillermo, special thanks for post-card - its always nice to get a feeling of a different culture where the masterpiece belongs..
