Working with pebbles of white marble that have been carved into flower shapes, Mexico's Josefina and Cecilia craft these pretty dangle earrings. The earrings are painted by hand with colorful hummingbird and floral motifs. Purple crystal beads and 14k gold-plated brass hooks complete the design.

"Marble Hummingbird Earrings"
These earrings are painted on both sides - hummingbird on one side and design on the other. The paint or a sealant is raised off the surface of the marble. There are tiny rhinestones incorporated into the designs. They are beautifully done. I was afraid they would be too heavy because they are marble but they are not. The puffy flower shape of the marble is a bit less than one inch. So glad to have them.
