After hand-carving each detail, the Ghanaian artisans ornament his artwork with vibrant colors, aluminum plates and brass accents that create an exquisite aura around the design.

Hand-painted with vibrant and luminous colors, this African sese wood mask is a testimony of Ghana's cultural richness. As a creation by Abdul Aziz Mohamadu, the artwork has traditional details around the design, featuring a bird motif on top as a symbol of freedom. The mask is also titled Susuu, meaning “bird” in the Hausa language.
