A finely-crafted skull glares from within the jaws of a jaguar to center the design. All young Mexica, or Aztec men, at the age of 14, were required to learn about weaponry and the art of war in special schools. Elite Aztec warriors wore headdresses denoting their honored status in this case, as a jaguar and warrior, or knight.

This is truly a work of art that I will treasure and be proud to wear. The description calls the piece "Great Gray Whale" I however think it looks like a Humpback Whale. This is why I bought the piece. Humpback whales are special to me. While in Cape Cod for our 25th wedding anniversary, we saw a mother and calf humpback whale.
