She vanishes, leaving Rama all alone. The artisan carries on the extraordinary art work of her late father, Nyoman Subrata.

This lovely Buddha's head is from talented Balinese artisan Made Mulyani. Carved by hand from native suar wood, the intricate detailing of Buddha's tightly curled coils and peaceful expression is truly remarkable. Buddha wears an urna in the middle of his forehead, which is a symbol of seeing into the divine world. The epic poem tells the story of Rama, the seventh incarnation of the god Vishnu, who eventually wins Sita in marriage. Displaced as rightful heir to his father's throne, Rama goes into exile with Sita and his brother Lakshmana. Sita is later abducted by the demon-king Ravana. Rama, with the aid of the monkey general Hanoman, searches for Sita and slays Rawana, rescuing her. Rama then regains his throne. Rumors and gossip accuse Sita of adultery during her captivity. Although innocent, she bears Rama's twin sons in exile, sheltered by the hermit Valmiki, the author of the poem. Many years pass, but eventually, Rama and Sita reunite in love. This elegant sculpture by Nyoman Indrawati Subrata of the Subrata Family was created in suar wood which is responsible for the richness of color that can be seen in this masterpiece.

Although Kali is known for her destructive side, she is also a wife and mother; her magical characteristics include rebirth, cycles of life and death, joy, courage, hope, cleansing and change. She is the protector of the oppressed and warrior for the people, depicted in a finely detailed sculpture by Suresh and Devender Garg.

Imposing eyes stare out at the viewer, representing a character from Bali's richly cultural folklore. In the great Hindu Ramayana epic, Kumbakarna is the brother of Rahwana, the evil ogre king who abducts Sita, wife of the hero Rama. Eventually, Rama and his brother Laksmana defeat Kumbakarna, their divine arrows cutting him down mercilessly one body part at a time.
