Stretched Acrylic and Marker Painting of Dancing Group, "Happy Mood I"
Ghanaian communities hold a ceremony called Durbar of Chiefs, where local authorities gather to meet their people. Inspired by the joyous dances presented at the event, artist George Blankson Bessa-Simons uses acrylic and markers on eggshell paper to create this expressionist composition in a vibrant palette, depicting a group happily dancing.
The work comes signed and stretched, ready to add a traditional touch to your environment.

"Gently painted"
I have this painting, which I got along with the green deer, and I plan on pairing them up with a larger picture of a MOTHER deer that I already have. I was surprised to find the style of painting so similar and that made me thrilled. Its a family affair!

"Calm and endearing."
I love the quietness of this gently painted deer. I also have the brown version and a larger picture of a deer that I had and they will be exhibited all together. I am very pleased with the picture. 3
