Sterling silver cufflinks, "Macaco"

"These cufflinks elegantly represent a historical snippet of Guatemala's past," says Pablo Castellanos. Working with sterling silver, he replicates the Macaco coin, the first metal coin used in Colonial Guatemala, which replaced the use of cocoa beans. Part of the currency used between 1733 and 1752, the macaco got its name from the Spanish moneda macuina, or "not round money." The original imagery features a cross flanked by castle towers and lions, the coat of arms associated with the Castille crown of the 12th century Spain.

"Love at first sight!"
I was sooooo excited for this piece to arrive, and it s even better than expected! As well as the pictures represent the piece, they really don t do it justice. It s absolutely stunning! The depth of the stone is mesmerizing and the quality and workmanship of the silver is impeccable! It s smaller than I had pictured in my mind (I was going for the bold look) and in reality the piece is delicate, yet still stands out and gets noticed! I really, really, really love this necklace. It s gone straight to the top of my favourites list. Almost forgot, I really like the chain too! It s delicate, yet looks super-sturdy, and it s bright and shiny and pretty-pretty. I highly recommend this beautiful creation, and am thrilled to own it. Thank you Mr. Castellanos for your amazing artistry!

"Beautiful ring!"
I recd my lavender jade ring just yesterday and Im very pleased. The ring fits very well and also Im pleased because the back of the ring is nice and thick, so I know the ring will last a longtime.
