Signed Expressionist Painting of a Horn Player from Ghana, "Out of Breath III"

Painted with acrylic and blue ink in an expressionist style, a lone musician with an elaborate, elongated form plays on a long horn. Ghanaian artist Joseph Kobina Prah paints this evocative composition. Says the artist, "It is interesting to see a woman playing a saxophone, because most women do not have such an interest. But, those determined do that do it to the best of their ability."
