Working on the handloom, Carmen Ruiz weaves an extraordinary Zapotec shawl. Intricate motifs in aqua on a black warp evoke the vast hillsides where agave grows. A voluptuous hand-tied macramé fringe completes this lovely cotton wrap, which takes its colors from natural dyes.

"Stunning statement"
This bedspread is gorgeous and makes a stunning statement against rich cherry furniture. Carmens work is of excellent quality and we will treasure this item for years to come. It is the perfect weight for our high desert climate.

"Love so much just bought another"
Beautiful creative detail and craftsmanship. I am inspired by Carmen Ruizs work. Bedroom feels like a sacred chapel. Excellent materials and heavy weight 100% cotton.
