Mayan Rope Style Double Nylon Handmade Hammock Mexico, "Ocean Waves"
Navy blue and white create the illusion of soothing frothy waves. The design is by Maya Artists of the Yucatan, who use traditional weaving techniques with experienced skill.
Long before the Spanish arrived upon the coasts of the Yucatan Peninsula, the Maya preferred to sleep and rest in hammocks. They considered the hammock to be like the loving embrace of a mother, due to the comfortable manner in which the body is held and swung within its cradle. Maya Artists of the Yucatan seek to preserve time-honored customs while also offering stylized versions of the original Maya hammock. For them, the hammock is a work of art. Their hammocks are incredibly comfortable, easy to maintain, and may be stored just about anywhere.
Please note: The accompanying extension ropes may vary in color from those shown in the images.
It easily packs for travel to the beach or lake. Extender ropes (measuring 1 meter), hammock hooks ("S" hooks), and step-by-step instructions included for easy installation.
NOTE: Because each is woven individually by hand, measurements may vary by as much as ten centimeters. There may be slight color variations from hammock to hammock.

"Hammock"

This hammock is very important to me, I have back issues and this is really comfortable Id recommend it highly to anyone who needs to relax with a good book or to nap workmanship is excellent. You can take it anywhere and set it up between a couple trees. There are many different colors to choose from. When ordering the products arrive packed neatly, and they come with nice cards describing where they came from and which individual made the product, and a story of the town and country of origin, sometimes stories of the individuals life and their family, so to conclude I would very much recommend Novica to everyone everything Ive bought is extremely beautiful and mostly all handmade, the silver rings and cuffs and earings etcetera are beautifully handcrafted and you can tell they were all made with love so much delicate and tedious workmanship put into each and every product. Im just grateful I found this company, I just recently received5 handmade masks, and I love them .thank you So
