"Close to my heart"
These are so lovingly created, knew they had to be inspired by real cats. Very happy with these cats, I wear them often. I truly like every piece I have purchased from this lovely couple-a very creative pair.

"Our friend loves them!"
We got these for our young friend with whom we re-homed our gorgeous black cat who could not get along with our other cats. She (and the cat) love them and immediately packed them to take on her European Christmas trip.

"My beloved black cat Onyx Cuddles"

"Distinctive Cat Earrings"

Working with Disabilities
One of Ruben and Gilda's assistants was in a motorcycle accident several years ago. He injured his foot, which left him without a job. Ruben and Gilda have hired this man with pride as he is a hard worker and a great asset to their team.
Preserving Traditions
Ruben and Gilda's parents taught them the value of hard work and that art is an expression of culture. Many of their designs include jade, which was highly valued by ancient civilizations in the area and used as ornaments, tools, and burial artifacts. Their artwork is often a reflection of Guatemalan culture and they used techniques passed down over generations.
Moving On Up
Thanks to their hard work and partnership with NOVICA, Ruben and Gilda have been able to build their own house and support their children's education. They hope to continue to grow their sales through NOVICA so they do not have to seek out other, more complicated markets.
