Presented by Amporn in Thailand, this adorable elephant statuette features life-like details and a pair of ivory wood tusks. Thai artisans use rich, durable teak wood to craft the statuette, diligently carving its textured features by hand.

This handsome elephant mask balances out all of the bright colors of the Latincan American art I have. My roomate attached the tusks and we hung it over the light fixture to gaze out over his domain.

I know every carving is different and not going match the picture. But the one I got was painted solid, cant see any grain. And it feels light and plastic. I was expecting a bit heavier and I did weight it and it was only about 0.1LB lighter than the listed weight. This is first item I ever returned with probably 30+ orders.I did have to say overall the price on Novica is getting a little out the hand, the full price must have gone up 25-50% over the last 3-4 years. Not sure all that increase benefits the artisans or the Novica staff...

I love this piece and am using next to an accent chair. It is a bit lower than I would like and would not hold a lot but is enough for my purposes. Makes for a great conversation piece.

This is a marvelous, intricately carved piece of art. The dappled finish on the wood brings the rhino to life. Love it!
