Forever linked to Mexico, the Virgin of Guadalupe is queen of the heavens – she stands on the moon and her cloak holds the stars. She first appeared in 1531 to Juan Diego outside Mexico City and, as proof, caused roses to bloom at the site. Named Patron Saint of the Americas by Pope John Paul II, she is a beloved manifestation of the Catholic faith. Ana Maria González recreates the famous portrait in an antique-style decoupage box with a rustic finish.

“Amazing craftsmanship!!”

This handcrafted wooden box is absolutely beautiful. The picture caught my eye and it?s even more stunning in person. Every time I pass by it, I can?t help but admire it. The artist is truly gifted and has a great eye for detail! I purchased this as a gift for my best friend and it?s going to be hard to give it up!!

“A wonderful example of Mexican Art”

The pencil holder is very well made. The butterflies are just great. I know that my granddaughter will cherish this present and remind her of her roots. Thank you for sending it well wrapped since int arrived intact.
