This pair of handcrafted dangle earrings by Rocío Elizalde of Mexico pays homage to the sun. The intricate details of the jewelry are formed by hand-weaving cotton thread into circle and semicircle patterns in a solid azul, or blue color. The Mexican artisan uses the tatting technique. The lightweight earrings hang from high polish sterling silver hooks.
