Handcrafted Batik Pule Wood Rama Mask with Bird Detail, "Powerful Rama"
Rama, the seventh avatar of Vishnu, embodied reason and virtue throughout his adventures on Earth. Challenged with unexpected tragedies and moral dilemmas, the deity remained righteous and wise, receiving the title of Ideal Man. Inspired by the divinity's story, Javanese artisan Gunadi handcrafts a pule wood mask with intricate motifs made using batik techniques, all honoring the charming image of Rama. As a mystic touch, the artisan adds a bird-themed crown to the piece, symbolizing the sacred circle of life and death.

So much lovelier in person; truly an exquisite, handcrafted piece that I will cherish forever. The colors and pattern of the batik perfectly complement the curves of the wood, and this mirror will forever have a place of display in my home.

"My niece loved this gift!"
The coasters are unusual and the batik design is beautiful! They fit the bottom of a medium glass tumbler. Only suggestion I have is to make it in a slightly bigger size as well.

"Makes me smile"
I get a little happy every time I see these ornaments. I had originally put them on a Christmas tree--they were the extra special touch among all the traditional stuff. My family thought they were cool and even wanted some. And actually, they are still on display, long after the Christmas decorations were put away.
