Experience the stunning artistry of Andean culture with this exquisite wool runner rug from artisan Gerardo Fernandez. The striking design pays homage to the tocapus, the distinctive geometric designs widely used in Inca culture. These intricate patterns adorned various items, including textiles, pottery and other crafted goods, serving as a fundamental artistic element throughout the Inca Empire. The rug's captivating colors, derived entirely from natural sources like cochineal, tree leaves, bark, roots and fruits, bring ancient traditions to life in your home. This handwoven masterpiece not only elevates your space but also connects you to centuries of Peruvian craftsmanship and creativity.

I could not be more pleased with this beautiful Peruvian rug. We bought one years ago for one bathroom and now have another for our second bathroom. They are extremely practical as well as beautiful. I lay it on top of another bathroom rug to give it a cushiony feel underfoot. It washes beautifully. Wonderful to have such art in my house.
