Guatemalan Handcrafted Posable Ceramic Catbird Figurine, "Grey Catbird"
Smaller than a robin, the grey catbird is a timid creature but his call can mimic the meow of a cat. Mauricio Morales depicts the bird in a ceramic sculpture and carefully paints it by hand before protecting the colors with a coat of wax. The realistic figurine stands on wire legs and the feet can be wrapped around a perch or branch.
