Circular African Wood and Aluminum Mask from Ghana, "Bird Wisdom"
Full of wisdom, this African mask is designed by Ghana's Victor Dushie. He hand-carves the mask of sese wood in a round shape with squinting eyes. Etched dot motifs decorate the face, painted in shades of brown. A bird is perched atop the mask, whispering wise words.
