"I took my inspiration from a bridge over one of our highways in the sierra. It is very dark over there, hardly any light – in fact sometimes the only light they get is from the moon," Peru's Estrada says of this oil on canvas. "A river runs underneath this bridge; its crystalline waters are very cold."
