The ring is almost exactly what is looks like in the photo and fits very well (ordered a size 10 and it fits perfectly on my middle finger). One of my favorite details is how the eagle's talons are holding the citrine gem in place. Novica always have beautiful pieces as this is my second ring I have ordered from here which I love. Highly recommend this piece.

I just received my "Starling Romance" ring, and I am admiring the craftsmanship and the fine details of this lovely piece of jewelry. On top of being simply beautiful, I also find the ring so delightfully 'exotic' and 'magical' . When gazing at the silver birds I think of a fairy tale. . This ring holds a very special charm. I was very pleased , too, to experience the pretty wrapping and jewelery box, plus a wonderful , personal greeting. Thanks so very much. Beautifully crafted! The only comment I would have is , just under the yellow side stones there is a dot of silver that sticks out and is not comfortable between your fingers when wearing it. I am going to file that flat. But I love the ring and get comments on it all the time.
