Eleodora Salvatierra works in the traditional Peruvian art of arpillera (appliqué) to share the rich colors of a floral harvest. Her attention to detail is marvelous as she includes ladybugs and a snail on the ground, a bird and butterflies midair, and pigs eating happily in the distance. The three-dimensional images are in full color, bringing to life a happy scene in this handcrafted wall hanging.

Autumn is the time of harvest in the Andean highlands. Apple trees are laden with fruit while cabbages, potatoes, pumpkins and more keep villagers busy in this beautiful tapestry.
