“My designs come in striking colors that represent Costa Rica, with the idea of capturing some of the richness of these colors and our beautiful native animals to make you fall in love with them,” says Costa Rican artisan Ferlander Arguedas. To create this colorful cushion cover, he uses different painting techniques and sublimation for printing. The cushion cover features Costa Rican native flora and fauna, such as parrots, toucans and frogs, in vibrant colors. The back is plain, with a zipper closure to fit the cushion.

Covet this eco-friendly interpretation of the classic nativity scene, typical of the days spent with family before Christmas. This sculpture integrates the pieces of the scene into a convenient single sculpture, facilitating its safe keeping and preventing the loss of important characters. Inspired by her religion and traditions, Salvadoran artisan Marcela Moran crafts this nativity sculpture from handwoven cotton and naturally occurring fibers from the calabash gourd, jute and agave, following her passion to create sustainable and biodegradable products.
