Found in ancient Celtic texts like the Book of Kells, it has also become a symbol of the Christian holy trinity. In Celtic tradition, it symbolizes strength and unity-the knot itself has no beginning or end. It can represent past, present, and future, or the stages of a woman's life according to Celtic lore: young woman, mother, and grandmother.
