It's amazing how a piece of clay can be transformed into heirloom. The unpainted clay surfaces reveal a creamy white clay that must be unique to the artist's region. The swirling painted design is bold & elegant. The beading outlining the design gives it depth and nice texture. The glaze makes the colors vibrant. The box was shipped promptly. It was carefully packaged. Sheets of paper were expertly molded to the shape of the box to pad it for shipping. It was fun unrolling everything to discover my "prize". This is a nicely sized, colorful pot perfect for holding one of my cactus plants. The colors are perfect for my home. I love the little bull skull under the cactus on the vase. The design is on both sides and there is a nice sized drainage hole on the bottom. It's well made and looks even better in person.

This is a very nice Catrina. What impressed me the most is that given my past experience with this type of ceramics, I was hesitant to order it just because I was afraid it may not make it on the shipping. Well, I had to use my old dissection skills to unwrap it. The packaging was superbly done. Now to the piece, it is as beautiful as it shows in the picture. It is elegant and genuinely "coqueta."
