The Fang people in Africa wear masks for ceremonies and celebrations that are instantly recognizable because they are elongated, heart-shaped and long-nosed. Ghanaian artisan Christopher Nyasafo designs this remarkable Fang mask, hand-carved from sese wood and hand-painted as an abstract depiction of a bear.
