I have several animals made by Jon Anderson (tortoise, elephant, ram, tree frog, gecko), and they are all gorgeous. He is an amazing artist. I am thrilled that some of his items are now available on Novica because I can support his art and Novica at the same time.
All of the decoration on the animals was made by manipulating the clay; none of it is painted on. The technique is impressive, but what I love about his animals are their expressions and grace. They embody joy.
