Inspired by the beauty of the earth, Mexican artisan Irene Ruiz designs this area rug, which she crafts in the traditional style of Zapotec textiles. Woven entirely on a hand loom, this wool rug features interlocking zigzag patterns that are created with yarns of clay, ecru, chestnut, taupe, and wheat. Different combinations of the various hues result in the stunning complexity of this rug. Fringes dangle from the ends.
