Wood sculpture, "Green and Yellow Brazilian Mac"

With a long, green tail – longer than the bird itself – this creation by Raul Vinelli depicts a colorful resident of Brazil's fertile rainforest. There the macaw is known as the arara, and takes its name from its hoarse call, "arrarrar!" Sculpted of pinewood and liana vines, this delightful work is a constant reminder of the rich avian life sheltered by the jungle.
Because each piece is an original sculpture, there may be slight variations from that pictured.

"These are beautiful!"
Gave to my wife as a Christmas present. After she was done admiring them she put all of them on our Christmas tree. She is very pleased with them and remarked about how beautiful they were.
