Hand-carved of sese wood and painted, this wall mask celebrates African traditions. Ghanaian artisan Nasiru Nurudeen gives it an original design, accenting it with shiny brass and colorful recycled glass beads. The mask is named Obaa Yaa, an Akan name given to women who are born on Thursday.
