As if in defiance of the danger around her, she remains serene, chin in hand and lips forming a half-smile. Around her brow, a dragon emerges from billowing white clouds. This surreally beautiful mask is the work of Gusti Ngurah Semarajaya in Bali. He carves the mask from hibiscus wood and paints it by hand with magnificent attention to detail.
