Balinese master silversmith Buana presents an intriguing necklace featuring multiple gems. The sterling silver Y necklace is punctuated with beads of onyx and garnet as well as cultured freshwater pearls in creamy white and iridescent purple-gray. Serving as the pendant is a replica pis bolong, an ancient coin brought to Bali from China that is now used in many Hindu ceremonies, as it is believed to bring good luck.

"Beautiful but flawed"
The spring clamp is too small for the jump ring it needs to connect to. Really need to jam it in there, which is difficult to do behind your head. I can replace the clamp, no problem. A lobster claw would be the better choice. A piece of the chain has already snagged on clothing, so I had to rework it so the wire end wasnt protruding. The piece is quite lovely, nice and delicate.

"Very delicate"
Much smaller than I expected. I thought the medallion would be bigger. In fact I thought the entire necklace would be a bit more sturdy. However, it is delicate, pretty and goes nicely with a V neck T shirt or sweater.

This ring is just beautiful. A lot of bang for the buck, it looks way more expensive. The design & contrast of the polish & oxidation, the sparkle of the stones…a perfect blend of artistry & craftsmanship. This is my second piece by Buana.

Very disappointed. Citrine is actually a very cloudy ametrine. And amethyst is so small and dark that you cant tell what it is Im not going to return the ring because it is too much trouble.

When Buana first began to work, he was fearful that he would be unable to care for his first child. Now he proudly cares for two.
