Hugo Pichaya paints this tranquil scene in a folk art style, using careful dabs of the paintbrush that capture the beauty of nature. Says the artist, "Guatemala is a beautiful place to get inspired. In each tiny corner, there is a marvelous landscape. We are surrounded by nature, volcanoes, mountains, flora, and fauna; we are very fortunate. I try to transmit this in my pieces."
