Beautiful harbinger of summertime, a butter features flowers in its wings. Songbirds pose on either side of this small-scale linoleum block print by Marina Pallares. "Farfalla means "butterfly in Italian. I love the sound of this word!" the artist says. "I wanted to create the figure with other objects like plants, flowers, the sun, the stars and birds. But essentially, the butterfly is a symbol of something that I deeply enjoy — freedom."

"Beautiful little print"
I love her creative and detailed little prints- this one will be a gift for a friend for Christmas. I have placed it in an 8x8 wooden frame, matted to 4x4, and it looks wonderful and classy. VERY high quality paper.
